Latest jobs for Nonprofit http://www.jobs92.com/ 2013-05-26T05:20:25+05:00 <strong>Location:</strong> Karachi<br /><strong>Description:</strong><br /><p>A well known and reputable Non-Government Organization looking for a dynamic candidate for the position of <strong>Manager / Assistant Manager &ndash; Environment, Climate Change and Livelihood.</strong> It is a Karachi based position that covers outreach activities in Singh &amp; Balochistan Region.<strong></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Main Responsibilities</span></strong></p> <p>He / She will be responsible:</p> <ul> <li>To assist SG in taking forward its programme on environment, climate change and livelihoods</li> <li>To manage on-going projects/program activities dealing with natural resource management and sustainable development.</li> <li>To plan, design and conduct qualitative and quantitative social science research (research on environmental issues with a gender perspective is preferred)</li> <li>To integrate gender/women&rsquo;s right into environmental concerns, policies and programmes.</li> <li>To &nbsp;conduct workshops and organize seminars &amp; awareness sessions on environmental issues and climate change</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Preferred Qualification</span></strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Development Studies or Environmental Sciences from a recognized university with at least 3-5 years experience.</li> <li>Should have strong communication, documentation and report writing skills in English and Urdu both.</li> </ul> <p><strong>We are an equal opportunity employer and offers attractive salary package along with medical facility.
